Mango Marketing began working with Rising Stars in 2007. The brief was to raise the profile of the company within the education sector and generate awareness of the company’s innovative and targeted resources and support. The campaign was separated into key elements; regular reviews, competitions and product giveaways, thought leadership editorial, raising the company’s profile at events and trade shows and securing seminar slots for industry experts.

Regular pioneering additions to the Rising Stars portfolio of products mean a close working relationship is essential; editorial coverage and reviews are planned around product launches and curriculum initiatives, targeting leading industry publications to ensure the company’s profile remains high with the relevant audience. Numerous reviews, competition giveaways and product mentions in the appropriate education sector magazines, such as Junior Education Plus, Special and Teach Primary, have all helped to correctly position Rising Stars as a publisher dedicated to continuous product development and have highlighted its responsiveness to new education initiatives and changes in the National Curriculum. Mango has also worked with Rising Stars on their eBooks campaign, successfully building Rising Stars’ profile as an eBook publisher and raising awareness of the eBooks website i-Stars.co.uk.
